The “Ethereal Sailing” is an analogue photography project.

It is a series of photos with an ethereal aesthesis, inspired by the temple of God Poseidon in Cape Sounion.

Through the photographic lens, projections and special techniques, the ancient historical heritage is being transformed to something new. Τhe marbles of the temple no longer exist as ruins, they are now electromagnetic waves traveling in time and in the ethereal space of the digital informational time-space.

This photographic series spreads light to the visual experience of our contemporary world, the constant dialogue between the gaze and the image, which dialogue is always complicated and polymorphic.

Each one of these photographs is a narration of a story, a narration of the journey of the visual image from the analogue to the digital world.
